ABOUT THE JOB

Latsco Shipping Ltd., located in the northern suburbs of Athens and representing a fleet of Tankers and Dry Carriers is looking to recruit a Senior Fleet Crew Operator, based in our Athens office.

The job purpose of the Senior Fleet Crew Operator is to ensure the efficient management of all crew-related operations for the assigned fleet, including recruitment, crew changes, documentation, and compliance with company and flag requirements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Contributing to the recruitment process of seafarers (interviews, evaluation, documentation, medical examination, induction, familiarization).
  • Coordinating the forecasting of all crew changes and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Operating all tasks related to embarkation and disembarkation of seafarers on vessels.
  • Ensuring the timely submission of performance evaluation reports for seafarers.
  • Monitoring and updating existing crew's information, documentation, certificates, statistical records, visas, etc.
  • Updating and maintaining records and data into the crew / planning system in cooperation with the Manning Agent where applicable.
  • Following up Flag Administration requirements related with crew matters, preparing and maintaining the applicable HSQEEn system documentation and reporting to all related departments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University Degree in a related job field
  • 5+ years experience in a relevant position
  • Familiar with ISM & MLC requirements
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
  • Excellent use of Danaos and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical skills, Customer focus, Proactiveness, Collaboration, Accountability
