The company specializes in all mechanical and electronic work related to MTU engines, the application of cutting-edge technologies, and the continuous training of its highly skilled personnel. MPD Greece is based in Koropi, operating a fully equipped workshop, offices, and logistics center covering 3,000 square meters. Job Description:
We are seeking a
Yachting Sales Executive
with a passion for the yachting industry to strengthen our growing sales team. This role combines technical sales, customer service, and post-sales support. The position involves targets for expanding the company's presence in the local market and building long-term relationships with yacht owners, captains, and maritime professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell MTU / Rolls-Royce engines, propulsion systems, equipment, and services in the Greek yachting sector.
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, including yacht owners, captains, engineers, and shipyards.
- Identify sales opportunities and follow up with leads to achieve targets.
- Collaborate with the technical team to prepare and present customized offers.
- Support and guide customers in engine selection, system integration, and technical product specifications.
- Participate in customer service, ensuring satisfaction through ongoing support and communication.
- Coordinate with the Service and Spare Parts departments to ensure timely assistance and product availability.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and new technologies in the propulsion systems sector.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in technical sales within the maritime industry, ideally involving premium engines or propulsion systems.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in computer use and excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong target-oriented mindset with a results-driven and business-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel within Greece and occasionally abroad.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge of marine engines and propulsion systems (especially MTU / Rolls-Royce).
- Previous experience in B2B sales involving clients such as yacht owners, captains, shipyards, or engineers.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and partners.
- Understanding of the yachting market and maritime industry trends.
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate with both technical and commercial departments.
Educational Background (Preferred):
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies in Maritime Management, Technical Sales, or Engineering Management will be considered an asset.
- Graduates of the Merchant Marine Academy with relevant experience are also welcome.
