About Us

Investing For Purpose is a new €30 million impact fund backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF), based in Athens, Greece. We are a small, international team of six professionals dedicated to making purpose-driven investments that combine financial returns with meaningful impact. Our office in Kolonaki provides a collaborative, entrepreneurial and supportive work environment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a
Financial Administrator / Office Manager
to manage our finance and operations function. This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented and methodical individual who enjoys working in a small team environment and has a positive, can-do attitude.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing our day-to-day financial and administrative operations, ensuring smooth office management and fund administration, and supporting our investment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Administration

  • Manage and process invoices, expenses and payments.
  • Handle bookkeeping, account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly financial statements, reports and audits.
  • Liaise with the EIF, external accountants, banks and service providers.
  • Manage reporting and compliance requirements of the EIF as our anchor investor.

Office & Operations Management

  • Oversee general office administration, supplies and vendor management.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, travel arrangements and schedules.
  • Support compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) with precision and confidentiality.

Team Support

  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day operational needs.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the investment team.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional office environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required if compensated by relevant experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial administration, accounting or office management.
  • Fluency in
    Greek and English
    (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Strong numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel in particular); experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Discretion, integrity and reliability in handling confidential information.
  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset and willingness to support a small, dynamic team.
