PEGASOS S.A. is one of the leading distribution companies in Greece since 1979, focusing on snacking products in FMCG industry. We are proud to exclusively represent Haribo gummies and Panini collectibles, while also managing a strong portfolio of brands such as Lindt, Corny, Capri Sun, Durex and McVitie's.

Our team is growing and we are currently in search of a Financial Analyst to join us and act as a trusted advisor for financial performance and planning.

Through this role, you will work closely with C-level stakeholders, and you will have ownership of effective and efficient monitoring and reporting of the organizational performance against key indicators and business objectives. You will provide accurate and data based information on company's profitability, liquidity and optimal capital structure. You will also analyze financial information to help drive strategic decision making.

What your day-to-day looks like:

  • Monitor, compare and analyse performance results against budget for the company and each business line separately, and provide feedback

  • Prepare and present analysis by comparing and combining financial and operational data

  • Investigate potential variances and interpret financial information to management while recommending further courses of action

  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends

  • Provide in-depth information to reduce costs/expenses and improve financial performance

  • Contribute to the creation of the annual business plan

  • Suggest process improvement and policy development initiatives for monitoring and reporting financial performance

  • Work closely with the accounting and other teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance to drive Revenue Growth

  • Develop complex business forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a broader business plan

  • Analyze actual revenue data monthly in order to track and communicate variances vs. plan

  • Prepare and track advertising budget per brand

What you need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in business planning, performance monitoring & reporting

  • BSc in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics degree or equivalent – MBA will be considered a plus

  • Top tier MS Office skills

  • Advanced knowledge of reporting tools

  • Experience in establishing and developing performance monitoring tools and reports for different audiences

  • Ability to interpret, disseminate and present information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a way that informs and influences their decision making

  • Strong collaborative interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills

  • Attention to detail and willingness to dig into the numbers to provide key insights

  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under deadlines

  • Strong sense of discretion and accountability
