Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant / Billing Administrator , based in Thessaloniki , to join our Finance team as maternity leave cover. The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day accounting and billing operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data and timely processing of invoices. This role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Main Key duties and responsibilities

  • Process and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain and update customer billing records in the system
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
  • Support month-end closing activities
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Finance team
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or billing
  • Experience with ERP systems (Entersoft experience is a plus) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and verbal)
