Account Auditor (Shipping)

Its Greek subsidiary, VIPA Hellas, has the country headquarters in Thessaloniki (G&G Office Complex, Mediterranean Cosmos area) and employs more than 300 people in Greece, achieving constant dynamic growth in both operations and manpower. We are looking for a professional based in Thessaloniki, that will be working on a shift of 9:00-17:00, on a non-fixed contract.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Review and follow up on account statements, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential discrepancies

Monitor and update credit limits in coordination with the relevant teams

Act as a liaison between VIPA, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth resolution of issuesManage and document claims and disputes, following up both internally and externallyReview and analyze the reasons for stand-by invoices and ensure proper handlingCommunicate effectively with different departments within VIPA and external partners when necessary

Prepare and maintain reports for management and administration

Qualifications & Competencies

Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Shipping or any other related fieldAt least two years of experience in the shipping industry, preferably in auditing/dispute department

Excellent knowledge of English

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Customer-centric approach

Critical thinking skills

Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines
