Our company, established in 1962, is one of the leading scientific equipment distributors in Greece. We are committed to the support of research, educational and health institutions, as well as the industrial sector (food, pharma, cosmetics, plastics, petroleum, metallurgy, art restoration, etc.). We provide complete scientific solutions for quality control, offering state-of-the-art equipment from renown manufacturers, reliable technical support, and calibration services.

We are seeking two (2) skilled and motivated Service Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess strong scientific / technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics, Geology, Material's Science etc.), Chemical or Electronic Engineering (from AEI or ATEI).
  • Reliability, excellent communication, and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for on-site customer visits.
  • Previous experience (at least 2 years) in scientific instrumentation (as a user or, preferably, as a Service Engineer), in one or more of the following: XRF/XRD, Spectroscopy (FTIR, AA, ICP, etc.), Chromatography, Mass Spectroscopy, Thermal Analysis.
  • Preferred previous working experience as a Service Engineer of scientific instruments.
  • Good knowledge of English (written & oral) and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Completed military service (for male applicants).

Key Responsibilities of Field Service Engineer:

  • Install, maintain, and repair scientific equipment in compliance with industry standards.
  • Train customers in proper equipment usage, customer specific applications and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate seamless service delivery.
  • Issue accurate reports on service activities and record customer requests.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
  • Fix technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to customers.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies, with training at manufacturers site abroad.
