Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an
Assistant Accountant
at JS Accounting located in Athens, Kypseli. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Day-to-day
    posting and reconciliation
    of Vendor's and Client's invoices
  • Registration and control of the
    bank's
    movements
  • Preparation and reconciliation of
    eBooks
    submissions.
  • Preparation of monthly VAT, VIES, Intrastat and various
    Tax declarations
    (Withholding Taxes, stamp duty returns etc)
  • Tracking Assets' depreciation and monitor
    fixed asset register

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Accounting & Finance, or related business field
  • Relevant working experience of
    minimum
    3 years in the role
    in a similar working environment (this is a
    key prerequisite
    )
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Familiarity with Epsilon software such as HYPER/EXTRA/Tax System will be preferred)
  • Good knowledge of MyData platform and procedures
  • Computer literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
