Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Athens for an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and supporting payroll processes. The role also ensuring compliance with statutory regulation, including mydata. Collaboration with other team members to maintain accurate financial records is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation practices
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data management
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Prior experience in accounting firm/office is a plus
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
