Role Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Accountant
to join our finance team at
Boutari Wineries
in Athens. This is a
full-time, on-site
position. The Assistant Accountant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile daily accounting transactions
  • Assist in monthly and annual closing procedures
  • Prepare financial and management reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Solid understanding of accounting, finance, and bookkeeping principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial/accounting software
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of Greek tax laws and accounting standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience with
    Entersoft ERP
    will be considered an asset
