Strategic Partners is seeking a Junior Assistant Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or young professional with no prior experience in accounting. The company is committed to providing comprehensive training across the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations, ensuring the successful candidate develops strong technical and professional skills within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and support daily accounting operations under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Assist in recording, classifying, and reconciling financial transactions.
  • Contribute to invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment procedures.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to understand compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • No prior work experience required — full training will be provided.
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken); Greek fluency required.
  • Completed military service obligations (for male candidates).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
