Procurement Officer

We are currently seeking to employ a talented and highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our Procurement Finance Team.

The main purpose of the role is to participate in the procurement process by searching for the most adequate & appropriate potential suppliers, supporting in the prosecution of tender process, negotiating quotations and ensuring the most efficient agreements for the wide diverse needs of IAG (products & services).

** The preferred start date for this position is after January 1st, 2026.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Select and finalize procurement specifications based on internal needs.
• Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers against defined criteria.
• Conduct tender processes in accordance with Group Procurement Regulations and project budgets.
• Prepare and present documentation to relevant committees for approval.
• Negotiate and renegotiate quotations for new and existing purchasing needs with providers and third parties to optimize costs and maximize profitability.
• Communicate and resolve unexpected issues during partnerships.
• Organize and participate in meetings with current and potential partners.
• Continuously perform market research and benchmarking for all agreements.
• Evaluate financial offers, terms, and supplier performance (quotations, credit checks, previous projects, benchmarking, partnerships).
• Present quotations to authorized personnel or committees for final approval.
• Monitor agreements to ensure compliance with financial, payment, and delivery terms.
• Assess suppliers using specific KPIs.
• Regularly monitor regulatory and other requirements (providers' code of ethics, GDPR, risk assessment templates) in cooperation with Risk, Compliance, Legal, DPO, and IT Security.
• Take necessary actions to ensure provider agreements comply with all relevant standards.
• Manage internal stakeholders (1st and 2nd line) by gathering and clarifying procurement needs.
• Provide solutions and support, offering feedback to identify gaps in specifications and technical information.

Knowledge:

• BSc (AEI/TEI) in Business & Administration, Management or Economics.
• MSc Degree is desirable.
• Professional experience in Supply Chain/Procurement.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• SAP knowledge (MM module) is desirable
• Advanced knowledge of English language.
• Advanced negotiation skills and strategic ways of thinking.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise systems.
• Excellent understanding of procurement cycle of process
• 3-6 years of working experience in relevant field.
