Role Overview

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Post-fixing/Operations to join our Athens office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking strengthen his position in operations, working alongside a high-performing and globally connected team. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong organization and communication skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in the global maritime industry.

Responsibilities

  • Daily coordination between Owners and Charterers, ensuring the appliance of agreed terms.

  • Awareness of charter party clauses & drawing/checking of contracts.

  • Checking freight & hire statements.

  • Brokerage commission invoice checking.

  • Liaise with clients/commercial dept. on resolution processes for post-fixture issues, enhancing the strong client relationships & contributing to the added value offered.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous work experience in a Post-fixing / Operations department in either a Shipping or Shipbroking company.

  • Candidates with maritime academic background will be preferred.

  • Holder of University degree.

  • Excellent command of the English language.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Excellent handling of Computers including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Hard working and ambitious to grow with the company.- Be able to perform well under tight deadlines.
