The Enesel Bulk Logistics DMCC (EBL Group), part of the global ENESEL Group, operates as a dry bulk operator and logistics provider. The Group is involved in the shipment of sole cargos and the parceling of cargos on behalf of third-party clients, matching them to vessels chartered in from owners—either for individual voyages or on a longer-term basis. Teams are currently based in Singapore, Dubai, Germany, and Chile.

EBL Group is currently looking for a full-time Financial Controller to be relocated to Dubai and be responsible for the whole Enesel Bulk Logistics Sub-Group ('EBL Group'), reporting to Group Financial Controller & Managing Directors.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local accounting and filing requirements for Dubai, Singapore, and other EBL locations.
  • Provide timely financial information, including group financial packs, cashflows, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.

Management & Shareholder Reporting

  • Prepare management and shareholder reports.
  • Provide proper financial support to the Managing Directors of the EBL Group.
  • Support Group Finance with cash projections, financial and operational reporting.

Accounting & Systems Development

  • Lead and develop the accounting function to support the company's expansion plans, including possible new jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and enhance the accounting system and ensure effective interaction with operational software.
  • Manage accounting/finance team members within EBL Group.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Cooperate closely with the Operations Team and Managing Directors.
  • Liaise with Group Finance and other local stakeholders to ensure seamless financial integration.

Qualifications/requirements:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance.
  • Proven experience in the Shipping Industry or Trading House (ship owning, commercial management, brokerage, or trading) at a senior finance position.
  • 3–5 years' experience in an audit/advisory Big 4 firm is a strong plus.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS.
  • Exposure to FFAs / hedging instruments.
  • Strong IT skills, including accounting packages and MS Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Business-oriented, pragmatic mindset with strong leadership and organizational abilities.
