Financial Controller

Overview:

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. This role involves managing accounting records, producing financial reports, developing budgets and forecasts, and providing strategic recommendations to support business decision-making. The Finance Controller also ensures that internal controls and regulatory requirements are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Organize and manage finance team.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and international financial, tax, and accounting regulations
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor cost efficiency and recommend improvements to maximize profitability
    Support senior management in strategic planning and business growth initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or CPA/ACCA/CIMA preferred)
  • Proven experience (typically 5–10 years) in financial management, accounting, or auditing
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
    Proficient English knowledge
