Financial Controller
plays a key role in safeguarding the company's financial health and driving sustainable growth across our hotel portfolio. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

The Financial Controller will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes while partnering closely with the CFO and the corporate leadership team. By delivering accurate analysis and actionable recommendations, the Finance Manager will contribute to optimizing profitability, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the company's long-term vision of excellence in hospitality management.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and business acumen, with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and analyze the company's overall financial performance, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting
  • Lead the preparation, monitoring, and control of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support business objectives
  • Conduct in-depth variance analyses between budgeted and actual results, identifying trends and recommending corrective measures
  • Supervise accounting operations, reconciliations, and the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
  • Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to safeguard liquidity and optimize resource allocation
  • Act as the primary point of contact with external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities, ensuring smooth cooperation
  • Design, monitor, and evaluate key financial and operational KPIs to drive performance improvement across the organization
  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting to support the Executive Management team in strategic planning and decision-making
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master's degree will be considered a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
  • In-depth knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (ΕΛΠ) and tax legislation
  • Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
