For a Leading Dry Bulk Shipping Company: S&P Broker

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all S&P transactions for the company, from opportunity identification to closing.
  • Monitor and analyze the Dry Bulk market, identifying new opportunities and trends.
  • Maintain and expand a strong network of shipowners, investors, financiers, and brokers.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts (MoA, SPA) with precision and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with technical advisors, classification societies, shipyards, and banks throughout the process.
  • Provide direct insights and strategic recommendations to the Shipowner on investment opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of proven S&P experience, with a focus on Dry Bulk carriers.
  • Strong and established network within the global shipping industry.
  • Ability to work independently and drive transactions end-to-end.
  • Deep knowledge of vessel valuations, market cycles, and commercial drivers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • University degree in Shipping, Finance, or related field.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in Tankers and/or Container Vessels.
  • Familiarity with vessel financing structures.
  • Membership or certification from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers or similar professional body
