Position Overview

We are seeking for a prominent
Business Development Officer (BDO)
to join our business development team, based in Athens, of Eurobank Leasing.

By joining this role, you will be responsible for building high impact relationships with business customers for leasing facilities as well as driving company business plan achievement in the area of responsibility.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Client-facing, business development, active marketing with local retail and corporate clients in all sectors.
  • Preparation of credit approval proposals, periodic reviews, memos, and ad hoc presentations to the appropriate committees and management.
  • Cooperation with more senior team members regarding communication with internal teams (Legal, Loan Admin, etc.) and external parties (legal and technical advisors, valuators, etc.).
  • Expanding relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Active involvement in the full cycle of underwriting of financings, implementation, and day-to-day follow-up and monitoring.

You will be a great candidate if you:

  • Have up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a quantitative field of study. A postgraduate degree will be considered an additional qualification.
  • Experience in sales, credit evaluation and loan documentation will be highly appreciated.
  • Are Proficient of the MS Office suite.
  • Are fluent in English (both in writing and verbally).
  • Have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Have effective interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, agility, and a can-do attitude.
