About the Role:
As a
Business Development Representative
at Cloud Office, you will be at the forefront of expanding our market reach and driving business growth. Your role will focus on engaging with potential customers, understanding their business needs and introducing them to our portfolio of solutions. You will play a key role in lead generation, sales pipeline development, and fostering strong client relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-growing team while working with industry-leading Google Cloud and Google Workspace solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking and inbound inquiries.
- Research and qualify prospects to build a strong sales pipeline.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
- Initiate conversations with decision-makers, understanding their challenges and business goals.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive engagement and trust.
Product & Industry Expertise
- Develop a strong understanding of Google Cloud and Google Workspace solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to position our solutions effectively.
Sales & Solution Selling
- Work closely with internal teams to present tailored solutions that align with customer needs.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Participate in industry events, workshops, presentations and other sales and networking opportunities.
- Support contract negotiations and help move deals through the sales pipeline.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with sales, marketing and technical teams to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and provide regular performance reports.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in B2B sales, business development or tech sales (preferably in cloud computing or SaaS).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and/or Google Workspace is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
This is a hybrid role on-site/work at home.
