Become part of Hempel's expanding & diverse sales team. We are looking for a winner Key account manager that will be passionate about developing & excel selling the organization's products B2B across multiple channels within designated territory, segment or account.

You will have the unique opportunity to report directly to our director sales Manager, be based on our office in Athens, Greece and agree with other colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this Role:

  • Leading a portfolio of accounts for Greece and Cyprus.
  • Acting as the point of contact, assessing customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Generating new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Building trust, resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Negotiating prices and delivery times within limits of authority
  • Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Setting and supervising sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitoring sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggesting actions to improve sales

Key Task

  • Meeting budget in terms of Revenue /Profitability/ Overdue
  • Managing few large key accounts directly
  • Providing data for forecasts annual/quarterly/monthly Sales
  • Developing specific plans to ensure revenue growth in chosen segments
  • Collaborating with Segment Sales head to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines
  • Attending/leading regular meeting on sales/collections/stocks/ business development

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in Chemical or Civil Engineering is valuable but not required
  • Relevant experience in B2B sales experience preferable in Paint /Protective Coatings/Specialty Chemicals
  • Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle large accounts and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
