We are looking for a
Sales Director
to lead and inspire our team of 10 sales professionals. This role is crucial in ensuring both client satisfaction and sales performance while building a strong, positive team culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 10 salespeople to achieve targets.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring new sales team members.
- Training new hires in company procedures and best practices.
- Monitor client communications (emails, calls, messages) to ensure excellence and responsiveness.
- Step in on complex client cases to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction, before, during, or after sales.
- Oversee lead distribution, pricing alignment, and support sales.
- Act as the bridge between Sales, Reservations, Accounting, and Operations teams.
- Manage team scheduling, vacations, and workload distribution.
- Track KPIs (conversion rates, revenue per lead, etc.) and report to management.
- Contribute to sales strategy and continuous process improvement.
- Create procedures and manuals to improve workflow.
- Organize team site inspections in and outside of Athens.
- Oversee sales pricing and offers, including any sales adjustments and refunds.
- Evaluate suppliers with the Reservations department and expand the supplier network whenever needed.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a
sales leadership role
(travel, luxury services, or hospitality preferred).
- Proven ability to manage and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- Strong understanding of
US luxury traveler expectations
.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Soft1 CRM and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in
English
