IT Consulting & Training Sales Specialist

(Alternate titles: IT Solutions Consultant | Technical Sales & Training Advisor)

1. Role Purpose

To drive business growth by providing expert IT consulting services, delivering technical training, and managing the full sales cycle for technology solutions and learning programs.

The role bridges technical expertise, customer engagement, and commercial strategy — ensuring clients receive high-quality advisory and training while meeting revenue and performance targets.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Consulting & Solution Design

  • Engage with clients to understand their IT needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Conduct assessments and propose tailored technology or training solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver solution proposals, demos, and technical presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.

B. Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Design and deliver IT training sessions (in-person or virtual) for clients or internal teams.
  • Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning content.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into training programs.

C. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities within IT consulting and training markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
  • Develop proposals, quotations, and contracts aligned with business objectives.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasting.

D. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with technical, marketing, and product teams to support client acquisition and retention.
  • Report on client activities, opportunities, and sales performance.
  • Provide input for market analysis and product development strategies.
