is a well-established and fast-growing insurance brokerage based in Piraeus, with more than a decade of expertise in providing tailored insurance solutions to both individuals and corporates. With a strong client-oriented approach and collaborations with leading local and international insurance companies, Delta Insurance Consultants is expanding its team and is currently seeking a Part-Time Assistant Accountant to support its finance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and high organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, the ability to take initiative, and to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. A proactive approach and the capability to meet deadlines will ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities - Job Description

  • Providing portfolio financial management
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, chasing responses, follow-up actions, preparing reports – spreadsheets etc
  • Communication with clients
  • Issuance of policies/ renewals
  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • Collaborating with the external accountant and supporting the finance department
  • Recording purchase, sales, and expense invoices
  • Tracking receivables & payables and updating client accounts
  • Entering and maintaining financial data in the company's CRM/ ERP back-office system

Qualifications - Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of the insurance market and policies will be appreciated
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with accuracy
  • Ability to adapt quickly
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Confident decision-making skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Contribute to team effort by achieving targeted results

  • Client handling experience in the insurance services sector is a definite plus
