Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 
Strategy & Operations Manager
located in Athens, with an engineering background in robotics, automation, or a related field. The role combines strategic growth planning and operational execution, ensuring the company scales efficiently while capturing new opportunities. This is a developmental leadership role with a direct pathway to the General Manager position. The successful candidate will begin by driving go-to-market and operational excellence, then evolve to oversee the company's full commercial and operational performance.

Your Role

• Support the definition and execution of the company's go-to-market strategy.
• Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities and client accounts.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align technical delivery with client needs.
• Monitor project execution and ensure operational milestones are achieved.
• Build efficient processes to link commercial and technical activities.
• Track, analyse, and report on company performance indicators.
• Deliver client and internal presentations on business and operational progress.

From the outset, this role will carry strong operational ownership, including:

• Coordinating daily collaboration across business development and engineering teams.
• Supporting resource allocation, scheduling, and operational workflows.
• Assisting with budgeting and financial oversight.
• Contributing to internal process improvements and performance tracking.
• Leading team nurturing, professional growth, and strengthening company culture as the organisation scales.
• Participating in management reviews and strategic decision-making.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or business development in a technology-driven environment (Robotics, Aerospace, Automation, etc.).
• Strong background in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both commercial and operational responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both technical and business contexts.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, CRM tools, Jira, and Confluence.
• Fluent in English & Greek; another European language is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Aerospace, or related field.
• Experience in operational leadership within startups or high-growth environments.
• Knowledge of dual-use markets (civil/defense) and UAV/robotics applications.
• Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
