  • Ensuring sustainability through strategic funding applications (Horizon Europe, Erasmus, I3, Tenders, Other)
  • Supporting knowledge valorization, innovation management, and technology commercialization

We are looking for an I
nnovation Project Manager / Grant Writer
to strengthen our ability to secure funding, manage research, innovation and CSA projects, and expand our networks across Europe. The ideal candidate should have expertise in
Horizon Europe
(with a focus on European Innovation Ecosystems, Widening, and bottom-up calls as well as CSAs)
and familiarity with Erasmus+, Digital Europe Programme
, or other funding schemes (e.g. I3). The candidate should also have 2 years of experience in managing EU RnI projects.

Your Role:

  • Develop and submit competitive proposals
    for Horizon Europe and other EU funding programs, (regarding HE, particularly in European Innovation Ecosystems, Widening, knowledge valorization, and capacity-building related calls)
  • The selected candidate will manage the
    EU i3 project FARM360TECH
    ,
    which aims to enhance the digital and green transition in agriculture by using DeepTech in traditional value chains
    . He/She will develop capacity-building programmes for stakeholders, assess the project's impact on regional value chains, and support policy activities.
  • Identify opportunities and build partnerships
    with industry and innovation stakeholders to commercialize mature research outcomes
  • Expand ISENSE/ICCS's connections across European and national innovation ecosystems
  • Manage and contribute to European Digital Innovation Hub
    (EDIH) initiatives
  • Collaborate with technical and research teams
    to integrate innovation and funding strategies across all I-SENSE divisions
  • Oversee IP management, exploitation planning, and knowledge transfer activities in collaboration with the legal team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Innovation Management, Business/Economics, or related fields
  • At least two (2) years of
    experience in grant writing or innovation project management.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Horizon Europe, particularly European Innovation Ecosystems, Widening , CL4, or other similar EU and National funding programmes
  • Know-how on running actions related to capacity-building, knowledge valorization, exploitation of results, feasibility studies (within the scope of CSA or Innovation Projects and/or in real market examples)
  • Experience working with other innovation ecosystem stakeholders (start-ups, SMEs, policy makers or EU institutions)
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build strategic collaborations with research and industry stakeholders
  • Technologically proficient and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent command of English (spoken & written)
