(OWF) developments and for conducting measurement survey campaigns for offshore wind projects directly or through a special purpose vehicle company. Moreover, HEREMA is responsible for managing on behalf of the Greek state the rights for underground fluids storage, including the permanent
storage of CO2
in geological formations. More specifically, HEREMA is the licensing authority for CO2 exploration and storage permits and is actively working with all stakeholders and the European Commission for the maturation of CCS projects in Greece, including the development of a regulatory framework and business model for the full Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) value chain.
Within this context, HEREMA is looking to hire an HR Manager for all of the above mentioned areas of activity, including all other support functions, such as legal, accounting etc.
The HR Manager role falls under the General Directorate of Finance and Admin Services. Key role responsibilities include
:
· Coordinating all aspects of human resources practices and processes, to ensure HELEMA attracts and retains talent.
· Support identification of resource requirements, develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates and run the processes for attracting and onboarding new resources (e.g. job postings, interviews).
· Support development of processes and initiatives which lead to a positive workplace.
· Optimisation and implementation of performance appraisal related processes.
· Drive initiatives to enhance skills of personnel according to the needs of the different departments.
· Support development of compensation strategies.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
· Engage with senior management to present options and proposals to achieve organisation HR related objectives and coordinate on actions to move these forward.
· Prepare HR metrics and reports for management review.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following Required Qualifications, Skills/Attributes and Working Experience:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices.
- Understanding of Greek public sector requirements and law requirements around HR topics.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Perform well in a fast-paced environment, constantly changing schedules and priorities.
- Full professional capability in Greek and English, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
