Airotel Group is a Greek Hotel Chain, created in 1984 and as per today it owns and manages 6 four-star hotels with a total number of 545 rooms in Athens, Patras and Kavala.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Groups & Events Coordinator to join our central offices team in Athens. If you are a Hospitality Sales professional and you are looking for a well established hotel company with a working environment where you can feel welcoming, safe and respected then send us your CV.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responding to all groups & banquet sales requests in a timely and professional manner, offering available dates and tailor-made options for venues, food and beverage, rooms, equipment and facilities
  • Performing all groups & banquet sales administrative tasks including but not limited to filing, data entry and preparation of relevant reports
  • Managing all billing procedures according to existed contracts and relevant booking confirmations and regulations
  • Preparing groups & banquet quotations and contracts in a timely and professional manner, making sure hotel's business mix and sales strategy is applied in all cases
  • Liaising with all relevant hotel departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping) in order to make sure that all group's and banquet requirement have taken care of and arranged as requested by the client
  • Participating in FAM trips, site inspections and client visits, relevant to banqueting and conference options in our Hotels in Athens

Desirable Skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant position within the Hospitality Industry
  • Fluency in both Greek and English language (written and spoken)
  • Excellent use of MS Office Suite (especially: Word, Excel & Powerpoint) and relevant hotel PMS (preferably Protel)
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit
