Travel & Events Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel and events industry. You will be responsible for handling VIP and sensitive situations, while ensuring excellent service delivery and communication with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
  • Uphold integrity and confidentiality in managing sensitive transactions.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally via email and other platforms.
  • Follow and manage all stages of the operation process.
  • Handle each speaker/client individually, understanding and addressing their unique needs.
  • Issue and manage travel services using booking systems.
  • Approach and connect with hotels to secure room blocks and favorable rates.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a travel agency or similar environment.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Background in handling international events or group travel logistics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Polite, professional, and respectful in all client and team interactions.
  • Experience managing speakers and/or VIP clients.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  • Client-oriented mindset with a problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
  • High level of discretion, responsibility, and integrity.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Excellent computer skills and MS Office tools.
  • Familiarity with the international phonetic alphabet.
