We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager with a strong hands-on presence at the reception. The ideal candidate will lead and motivate the Front Office team, ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and seamless coordination with all hotel departments. This role combines strategic oversight with active engagement in day-to-day front office functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises all Front Office operations, including Reception, Reservations, Guest Services, and Telephone.
  • Trains, cross-trains, and continually develops all Front Office personnel.
  • Oversees staff scheduling and workload management across shifts.
  • Actively participates in the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of team members.
  • Monitors room status accuracy, guest billing, and cash-handling compliance.
  • Ensures all guest concerns are resolved promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
  • Coordinates group bookings and special requests with relevant departments.
  • Reviews and analyzes daily reports, forecasts, and performance KPIs.
  • Prepares monthly departmental budgets and monitors cost control.
  • Leads regular team briefings to maintain high communication standards.

  • Supervises the night audit process and ensures reporting accuracy.

  • Maintains organized administrative systems for reports, schedules, and documentation.
  • Ensures guest correspondence, messages, and deliveries are handled professionally and on time.
  • Acts as a key liaison between Front Office and other operational departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager in an upscale or luxury property.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Proficient in PMS and Microsoft Office (Pylon knowledge preferred).
