Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and enters data accurately into the in-house bookkeeping software.

  • Is responsible for the filing of accounting and other financial documents and treats all information confidentially.

  • Processes invoices and prepares bank transfers and/or other bank documents.

  • Ensures availability of funds to meet ongoing operational requirements

  • Answers internal and external finance queries

  • Is responsible for the filing of accounting and other financial documents

  • Prepare reports on internal controls and financial activities

  • Maintain records of customers' invoices to track payments

  • Monitor credit exposure and minimize bad debt risks for the organisation

  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, while effectively mitigating credit risks and ensuring timely collections.

Required competenciesand experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Good interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

  • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines

  • Attention to details with an ability to spot numerical errors

  • Good written and oral knowledge of English

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration
