    Mechanical Engineer - Industrialization and Rolling Stock Maintenance
  • Location: Thessaloniki (On-site)
  • Experience: Middle/Senior
  • Field: Railways

We are looking for Mechanical Engineer with a strong spezialization in Industrialization and Rolling Stock Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define technical characteristics and functional requirements of mechanical equipment and support tools
  • Coordinate and implement industrialization processes for new railway components and systems.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities on rolling stock.
  • Prepare basic mechanical designs and layout drawings (AutoCAD, when needed)
  • Collaborate with procurement, site operations, and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project needs
  • Provide technical input for the selection, design, and validation of lifting and handling equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Middle/Senior experience in the railway sector, preferably in maintenance or industrialization.
  • Strong knowledge of rolling stock systems and railway maintenance processes.
  • Ability to perform fault diagnosis and analyze technical performance
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and equipment design
  • Ability to define specifications and translate operational needs into technical solutions
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (for basic drawings)
  • Based in Thassaloniki — no travel required
