Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this Sales Engineer role are:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for the sales team and clients, such as engineering design firms, and technical and construction companies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations on our electrical panels and systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering design firms and technical teams to specify and configure electrical panels that meet project requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and documentation, including single-line diagrams and compliance reports.
  • Answer technical questions and provide support to clients and internal teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to our manufacturing and engineering teams to help inform product improvements and new designs.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this Sales Engineer role are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, preferably within the electrical or industrial automation industry.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Expertise in low and medium-voltage electrical systems and components.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and certifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, preferably within the electrical or industrial automation industry.

Skills

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and closing deals with engineering firms, construction companies, and large industrial clients.
  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
  • Experience in project management and a solid understanding of the sales cycle for complex technical solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills
