Position Overview

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team and take ownership of the full spectrum of HR functions within our organization. Odyssea has already taken substantial steps in streamlining HR management with an established HR platform (BambooHR) and comprehensive HR policies in place. This role will be pivotal in leveraging these existing systems, further developing our organizational culture, supporting the hiring managers in talent acquisition, optimizing HR processes, as we continue to grow both our relevant teams and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with Odyssea's values and mission
• Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires and departing employees.
• Take full ownership of payroll administration, including salary calculations, benefits, deductions, and ensuring compliance with labor law.
• Coordinate performance review processes and support managers and employees through feedback discussions
• Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns, managing requests, and fostering a positive workplace culture
• Maintain accurate records on our HR platform (Bamboo HR) and documentation, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations
• Support staff development by identifying training needs and coordinating learning opportunities
• Assist with organizational development initiatives and culture-building activities
• Provide strategic HR advice to the leadership team to support organizational growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
• In-depth knowledge of Greek labor law and HR best practices
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment and performance management processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with high emotional intelligence
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects, from onboarding and offboarding to engagement surveys and team-building events
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal)
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
