We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our group real estate team. From the site evaluation and infrastructure planning to the construction oversight and project management, you will play a vital role in the successful planning, design, and execution of real estate development projects.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to support the success of our real estate operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the planning, design, and coordination of the real estate development projects.
  • Develop detailed construction schedules, identify potential risks and optimize the use of resources considering factors such as material procurement, resource allocation, and potential challenges.
  • Monitor and oversee the construction sites to ensure adherence with the design specifications, safety standards and regulations within the defined timeline and budget.
  • Ensure that the real estate projects comply with the local, state, and federal regulations, as well as the environmental protection laws.
  • Identify potential risks, mitigate challenges, and optimize the use of resources for the successful implementation of the projects.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and coordination among all parties involved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the Civil Engineering; postgraduate degree in Structural, Geotechnical or Construction Engineering/Management will be a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in real estate and/or infrastructure business sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office; familiarity with BIM software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks) will be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in the Project Management; experience collaborating with public authorities or private organizations in permitting and project monitoring stages is considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Adequate communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrative ability to manage technical and administrative challenges and take initiatives.
