Mercier Consultancy MD is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for Nordic Speaking Customer Service Representatives in the Government & Public Sector industry. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about public service and wish to make a positive impact in their communities. As a customer service representative, you'll assist citizens by providing them with essential information and support in their respective Nordic languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries from the public regarding government services, policies, and programs in Nordic languages via phone, email, and chat
- Provide accurate information and guidance to citizens, ensuring that all communications are clear and effective
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to public services and offer necessary follow-up support
- Document all customer interactions accurately to maintain proper records
- Work collaboratively with various government departments to resolve inquiries efficiently
- Stay informed about changes in government policies and services to provide up-to-date assistance
Requirements
- Fluency in one or more Nordic languages (e.g., Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish) is required; knowledge of English is an advantage
- Previous experience in customer service, especially within the public sector, is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage sensitive inquiries with discretion and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends and public holidays
