Front Office Agent

Aluma is a new international chain of hotels, with various locations in major European cities, as well as resorts at exciting leisure destinations, offering a wide range of experiences that cater to today's global travellers. Position summary

The Front Office Agent serves as our guests' first point of contact and manages all aspects of their accommodation, ensuring guest satisfaction during the stay in company's properties.

Scope

  • Report to Front Office Supervisor
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
  • Upsell additional facilities and services
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Prerequisites

  • Minimum one year of working experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • A second language will be considered as a plus.
