The Purchasing Manager will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining our supply chain, ensuring that we provide the highest quality products and services while adhering to our standard of understated elegance. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies in alignment with hotel objectives.
  • Manage procurement processes for all hotel operations, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and favorable terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing schedules to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding purchasing and supplier relationships.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly, ensuring products meet required quality and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ascertain their purchasing needs and preferences, offering guidance on product options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the hospitality industry with luxury market experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Greek and English, and strong customer service orientation.
