Nordic Language Community Moderator

We are seeking a skilled Nordic language community moderator to join our team. As a community moderator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and respectful online environment for users who speak Nordic languages.

Your primary responsibility will be to review user-generated content across various social media platforms, ensuring that it aligns with our community guidelines. You will need to possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills to quickly identify and address any potential issues.

To succeed in this role, you must have fluency in one or more Nordic languages (e.g., Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) and English, both written and spoken. Prior experience in content moderation or a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Moderate user-generated content in Nordic languages to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
  • Quickly identify and take appropriate action against inappropriate or harmful content.
  • Provide constructive feedback to users regarding content quality and engagement best practices.
  • Collaborate with fellow moderators to optimize moderation processes and guidelines.
  • Document moderation activities and keep accurate records of decisions made.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in one or more Nordic languages (e.g., Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills focused on community interaction.
  • Prior experience in content moderation or a similar role is preferred.
