Steward Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Steward to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant and possess strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with established hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and service areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the receipt, unloading, and proper storage of deliveries, maintaining organization and stock rotation protocols.
  • Provide support to kitchen staff during peak service times, assisting with basic food preparation and other operational tasks as required.
  • Promptly clear and clean tables in the dining area, maintaining a neat and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Adhere strictly to all sanitation procedures, health regulations, and company policies to uphold a safe and compliant working environment.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in a stewarding or similar role within a hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration with the kitchen and dining teams.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
