Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and providing support to all IT&T systems related to aviation and airport terminal operations, as well as their relevant interfaces.

The role is key in ensuring high availability, quality, and functionality of the aviation systems and their usability for all internal/external users. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless operation and usability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in computer operations and application administration. Airport experience and/or IT systems operation in the transportation industry would be an advantage.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide analysis and isolation of incidents to ensure systems' operation.
  • Monitor systems' resource capacity and ensure accurate inventory.
  • Design solutions, prepare technical studies, and consult based on business requirements.
  • Update systems' applications and interfaces under responsibility.
  • Analyze and recommend new products and solutions for internal or external users.
  • Participate in the design and realization of new solutions (projects) for passenger processes and terminal operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in computer operations and application administration.
  • Airport experience and/or IT systems operation in the transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with airport passenger and baggage handling systems and their associated applications.
  • Experience in design and setup of server and client infrastructure from different vendors.
  • Experience in Microsoft systems administration.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure environment and data network technologies.
  • Airport experience is an advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks efficiently is also essential.

You should be proficient in Microsoft systems administration, have good knowledge of Microsoft Azure environment and data network technologies, and be familiar with airport passenger and baggage handling systems.
