We are seeking a QHSSE Specialist to join our team. As a QHSSE Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance of our operations.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure operational compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legal frameworks. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing safety standards, and managing safety plans and compliance at construction and operating sites.

You will also be responsible for creating site visit reports, providing consultation to site supervisors on HSE compliance and best practices, and conducting regular sessions with site supervisors to review ongoing HSE issues and relevant contractors' performance.

Additionally, you will identify training needs, deliver HSE training, and convene safety meetings to promote awareness and compliance. You will support the implementation of QHSSE Management System (MS) standards, including Management of Change processes, across departments.

You will undertake risk assessments and develop Emergency Response Plans for various projects and operations. You will also assist in incident management, leading investigations per INIL procedures to identify learnings and preventive actions.

As a QHSSE Specialist, you will collaborate with external stakeholders and authorities, staying updated on relevant HSE legislation and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Master's degree in Engineering or other relative field will be considered an asset
  • At least 3 years of working experience on relative business as Health and Safety Inspector/coordinator preferably on construction or field operations
  • QHSSE Technical Competencies
  • Solid knowledge of ISO requirements
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
