**Quality Assurance Specialist Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our ready-mix concrete production meets the highest quality and reliability standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Optimize Mix Designs
  • Oversee Quality Control and Technical Performance
  • Develop QC Plan for Regional Production Facilities
  • Support Product Control Plans and Ensure Compliance
  • Adjust Production Processes for Consistency and Quality
  • Provide Expert Troubleshooting and Technical Guidance
  • Serve as Technical Resource for Material and Product Performance
  • Recommend Plant Modifications for Efficiency
  • Investigate Quality Issues and Conduct Root Cause Analyses
  • Develop and Refine Processes for Enhanced Quality
  • Perform Field and Laboratory Testing as Needed
  • Manage Laboratory and Quality Control Program Budgets
  • Mentor Team Members in Achieving Top-Tier Quality Standards
  • Foster a Culture Focused on Quality, Sustainability, and Customer Service
  • Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety Standards
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to Align Production Practices with ESG Goals
  • Recommend Concrete Mix Designs that Align with Sustainability Objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant Quality Assurance or Civil Engineering Construction experience
  • Experience in concrete works, maintenance, and finishes
  • Knowledge of industrial concrete manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of concrete testing and quality control procedures
  • Ability to comprehend and develop contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
  • SAP Experience considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Project Management and CAD packages considered a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid research and analytical skills with great attention to detail and focus on accuracy
