Regulatory Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing regulatory developments in Greece and the EU, identifying opportunities and barriers, and providing timely internal reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the energy regulatory environment, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory updates in Greece and the EU for gas and power markets.
  • Anticipate impacts and provide timely internal reporting.
  • Identify regulatory barriers or opportunities and assess their potential impact.
  • Participate in advocacy efforts to influence energy-related policies and regulations.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and support submission of required reports.
  • Prepare monthly regulatory reports and maintain comprehensive departmental records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Energy, Energy Economics, or Law, Policy, MBA an asset.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in liberalized energy markets operation.
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency.
  • Excellent technical, regulatory, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
