Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative professional to join our team as a Facilitator/Receptionist. As a key member of our staff, you will engage with visitors, encourage them to learn and discover through play, and promote interaction with the various experience areas within our attraction.

Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate memorable and safe visits for our guests. This includes engaging with visitors, assisting with events and activities, and maintaining operational efficiency and safety protocols.

You will also be responsible for acting as a receptionist, handling cash transactions, and receiving income from admission and retail facilities. Additionally, you will assist the Operations Manager and Supervisors in optimizing marketing opportunities and income generation.

As a successful candidate, you will have about two years of relevant professional experience working with visitors in a leisure, visitor attraction or related environment. You will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and have flexibility with working hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • About two years of relevant professional experience in working with visitors in a leisure, visitor attraction or related environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexibility with working hours, including shift work
  • Basic first aid knowledge and skills, ideally with a relevant certificate

You will also need to be comfortable facilitating events and working with children, such as in birthday parties. Lead by example to inspire a high level of quality service among the team.
