Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a CMO Procurement Expert for the Procurement department at our Marousi premises.
As a CMO Procurement Expert the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a significant and rapidly growing area of spend, aligned with the continued expansion of Pharmathen. The value delivered in this role, beyond YoY savings, will be the ability to facilitate and generate options for the company through vendors for the differentiator technology/manufacturing process and collaborate with customers to meet the needs of the market. Management of stakeholders and inspiring the team to continually strive for the best results for Pharmathen will be the most redeeming feature of this role.
More particularly:
What you will do:
- Develop the Category Strategies and implement the same across the whole manufacturing network of Pharmathen to deliver YoY price reduction and benchmark cash generation program in Inventory and payment term
- Derisk the category by dual sourcing as necessary and generate geographical resilience as well
- Foster better relationship with vendors with appropriate SRM program
- Drive innovative projects to constantly deliver value beyond price for Pharmathen
- Contract Management through lifecycle of materials
- Develop & build the team and achieve high engagement results
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum a BSc Degree in Engineering or other relevant areas – MBA or advanced degree and/or relevant certification preferred Experience to the other areas of Supply Chain, R&D and QA
- Training in the latest Procurement Technology and capabilities
- Strong Procurement/ Manufacturing/ Supply Chain experience of >7-10 years at Pharma/Chemical/FMCG/FMCH companies with Global Category Management operations
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of Contract Manufacturing process and experience of managing vendor base
- Knowledge of change management and induction of the new vendor
- Exposure to the process of Risk Management of the supply base
- Conducting Global RFQs and Auctions
- Knowledge of Should Cost, Value Engineering and Design to Value
- Develop category Strategies with the team and obtain endorsement of the key Stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate across the functions within the organization
- Support Devices Development Strategy of Pharmathen
- Excellent communication skills
