Executive Culinary Director

As the Executive Culinary Director, you will have the opportunity to create an innovative menu that highlights seasonal ingredients and flavors while maintaining high-quality aesthetics and service. You will manage kitchen team members, oversee food production and presentations, and collaborate with various departments to create unforgettable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will be visionary leader able to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistent execution of high-quality food and beverage offerings. They will design and implement innovative menus that reflect diverse culinary influences and cater to a range of dietary preferences.

You will oversee all aspects of food preparation, production, and presentation, ensuring every dish is delivered with precision, creativity, and consistency. As a leader, you will foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous professional development within the kitchen team.

The Executive Culinary Director will be responsible for managing kitchen inventory and procurement, controlling food and labor costs, and implementing operational efficiencies to support overall financial goals.

Partnering with hotel leadership and cross-functional teams, you will develop and support signature events, culinary activations, and bespoke dining experiences. Actively engaging with guests, you will solicit feedback, anticipate preferences, and deliver tailored culinary experiences that exceed expectations.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in a Head Chef or Senior Culinary leadership role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Formal education in Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced cooking techniques, strong foundation in food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong culinary vision and creative flair, ability to conceptualize and execute innovative, guest-centric menu offerings.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, ability to inspire, guide, and develop a high-performing culinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English is required; proficiency in additional languages will be considered an asset.
