Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations.

  • Attend to customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their travel requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone or email to discuss their journey needs and provide expert advice on routes, destinations, and travel arrangements.
  • Efficiently manage airfare, ferry, and other travel documents, including amendments and reissues as required by clients.
  • Manage group travel with expertise and ensure seamless execution of complex itineraries.
  • Offer expert advice on special rates, FIT, and low-cost carriers to match customer preferences and budgets.
  • Apply corporate travel policies and contract details to deliver personalized services to clients.
  • Maintain and enhance traveler profiles to provide continuous service and build strong relationships with repeat customers.
  • Nurture excellent relations with suppliers to secure optimal terms and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to drive efficiencies and deliver premium value to clients.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability and deliver results-driven solutions to meet client needs.

Your Profile:

  • Relevant degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, Forth CRS) and other reservation systems.
  • Excellent user of MS Office, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional understanding of travel guidelines, country entry procedures, safety, local customs, and related matters.
  • Outstanding team player with a strong will to support colleagues in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and collect valuable knowledge on personal preferences.
  • Exceptional ability to interface with high-profile customers and develop strong relationships.
  • Strong ongoing interest in new trends and comprehensive knowledge of the traveling industry.
  • First-rate written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully resolve customer issues.
