Job Description:

In this exciting role as Front Office Manager, you will be the ambassador of our exceptional FO Service Excellence Culture at a fully renovated resort in Corfu. You will oversee and develop the FO Team, ensuring high-quality services and memorable experiences for our guests.

As the Front Office Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office team. The ideal candidate will guarantee that guest service standards are consistently applied while adhering to all hotel and department policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service, negotiation and excellent Communication skills, Pleasant personality, customer-oriented. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations is essential.

 

Scope of Work:
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy, and revenue.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Supervise daily shift processes ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Train, direct the work of front office employees, resolve issues/problems, and coach the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guests' preferences and special requests.
  • Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings with associates and review all information pertinent to the day's business.
  • Conduct department meetings with team to drive associate engagement.
  • Inspect grooming and attire of associates, rectify any deficiencies.
  • Ensure safety by following guest check-in and security procedures.
  • Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level daily.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Three or more years working experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality sector (5* Hotels). Protel experience preferred.
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language.
  • A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus.
