Sea Freight Operator Position

This role is ideal for logistics enthusiasts who are passionate about efficient cargo management and want to join a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of import shipments, coordinating with shipping lines, agents, and correspondents, and generating required documents.

  • Verify shipment details and ensure readiness for sea freight import/export shipments by verifying documentation.
  • Coordinate bookings, provide accurate loading instructions to carriers, and prepare/loading notes as necessary.
  • Ensure accuracy within the company's ERP system.
  • Generate and distribute required sea freight documents, such as bills of lading, delivery orders, and customs declarations.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
  • Advanced business writing and oral skills in English and Greek.
Eligibility Criteria
  • High school or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or other related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in Operations or relevant position.
  • Previous experience in the shipping freight forwarding industry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
