Road Freight Operator

We are actively seeking for highly motivated Road Freight Operators, with passion for for logistics and efficient cargo management, from those starting their careers to experienced experts ready to lead, to join our Road Freight Forwarding team.

The Road Freight Operator, will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of import shipments for clients.

• Ensure readiness for road freight import/export shipments by verifying documentation and shipment details.
• Coordinate bookings with trucking companies, agents, and correspondents, providing accurate delivery instructions to carriers, and preparing/loading notes as necessary.
• Ensure accuracy within the company's ERP system (Orian).
• Generate and distribute required road freight documents, such as delivery orders.
• Oversee the issuance and management of invoices related to road freight shipments.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit and collaboration mindset.
• Advanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English.

• High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business administration or other related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in Operations or relevant position.
• Previous experience in the shipping freight forwarding industry is desirable.
• Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
